Allspice is a tall evergreen tree of the Myrtaceae. The main place of origin for Jamaica, Cuba and other central and South American countries, is only in the Americas to cultivate plants. Xi was born in hot and dry areas. Harvesting and processing: Harvesting when the fruit is ripe but still green. After harvest, dry in the sun until the skin is reddish brown. Dried seeds produce an aromatic mixture similar to cinnamon, cloves, and Nutmeg, hence the name allspice.
